Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account, accessing Pristine, or using any part of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use Pristine.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we may notify you through the app, website, email, or another reasonable method. Your continued use of Pristine after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

Pristine provides skincare-related information, product organization, product scan results, skin scan outputs, and personalized recommendations for informational and educational purposes only. Pristine is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional if you have questions about a medical condition, symptoms, treatments, allergies, skin reactions, pregnancy-related skincare choices, or changes in your health. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by law in your region, to use Pristine. If you are not old enough to use Pristine on your own, a parent or guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf.

You agree to provide accurate account and profile information and to keep it current. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account and for maintaining the security of devices, credentials, and authentication methods used to access Pristine.

You may use Pristine only for personal, non-commercial purposes and only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law. You agree that you will not:

• use Pristine for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose
• copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works from any part of Pristine except where allowed by law
• sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise transfer access to Pristine
• interfere with or disrupt the operation, security, or integrity of Pristine
• attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, technical protections, or usage restrictions
• upload or transmit images, content, code, or files that are unlawful, harmful, infringing, hateful, abusive, obscene, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable
• use Pristine to develop, train, benchmark, or improve a competing product or service without our written permission
• misrepresent your identity, account information, or authority to use an account

Any prohibited use may result in suspension or termination of your access to Pristine.

Face scans, product scans, skin profile responses, saved products, and recommendation features depend on information you choose to submit and on automated analysis that may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or affected by image quality, lighting, product packaging, catalog coverage, and other factors.

You are responsible for deciding whether to rely on information shown in Pristine. Product recommendations, ingredient information, scan outputs, routines, and other content do not guarantee any particular result and are not a substitute for professional judgment.

You retain any rights you have in photos, product images, skin profile responses, support messages, and other content you submit to Pristine ("Your Content"). You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit Your Content and that Your Content does not violate law or another person's rights.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, display, analyze, and create outputs from Your Content solely as needed to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Pristine and as described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not claim ownership of Your Content. Our current app is designed to store derived scan results, not original face photos, after analysis completes. These Terms do not give us permission to sell Your Content or use your face photos to train Pristine-owned models, unless you give separate consent.

Your use of Pristine is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information. If these Terms and the Privacy Policy conflict, the document that most specifically addresses the relevant subject controls.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use Pristine for personal, non-commercial purposes. We and our licensors reserve all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.

Pristine, including its software, designs, text, graphics, logos, names, product experience, features, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws. You may not use our names, logos, or brand features without our prior written permission.

Pristine may include links, integrations, content, or services provided by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, apps, products, services, content, privacy practices, or terms. You are responsible for reviewing third-party terms before using them.

If you download Pristine from Apple's App Store, these Terms are between you and [Legal entity name], not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Pristine, the Services, or their content.

We, not Apple, are responsible for providing maintenance and support for Pristine as described in these Terms or required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support services for Pristine.

If Pristine fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to Pristine.

Apple is not responsible for claims relating to Pristine or your use of Pristine, including product liability claims, regulatory claims, consumer protection claims, or claims that Pristine infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.

You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Pristine. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you as third-party beneficiaries.

If you send us ideas, suggestions, bug reports, comments, or other feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, publish, distribute, and otherwise exploit that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of Pristine at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for Pristine or others, or used the Services unlawfully or abusively.

You may stop using Pristine at any time. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination will continue to apply, including:

• ownership and license restrictions
• feedback rights
• warranty disclaimers
• limitation of liability
• indemnity
• governing law and dispute provisions
• any other provisions that by their nature should survive

Pristine is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, security, or error-free operation, except where such warranties cannot be excluded by law.
